As a Costume Designer, one of my main priorities is to be an illustrator of literature.  In all of my designs, I work to blend my vision with the playwrights theme, historical accuracy and the directors vision to create the productions unique beauty.  For the past 30 years, I have been fortunate enough to work in both educational and professional theatre.  For educational theatre, I love creating a learning environment were the students feel safe and free to find their own voice to express their creativity.  Working professionally, I value theatre as a collaborative art in which all participants contribute equally and mutually share responsibility. To achieve this it is essential that I maintain a high quality of work, that I explore and develop my own artistic abilities, and work closely with my colleagues.
